COVID-19 Update -

Our COVID-19 team has looked at both the Regional and NB Public Health recommendations and the results of the survey that was sent out earlier in the week to make decisions about how Forest Hill will proceed for this first portion of the Green Phase.

Detailed information on the survey and Green Phase changes will be in the newsletter.  You can contact Margie Roxborough, Mary Grant or Karen Flinn if you have questions or concerns.

For services:

  • Please stay home from church if you are feeling unwell.
  • Masks will be required for entering the building and moving around.  Masks may be removed while you are seated.  Disposable masks will be available if you forget your own.
  • Masks will be required while singing, but you may leave your mask off and hum along to the music.
  • There will be no distancing requirements when people are masked.  However, you should be aware that people’s comfort levels with close contact will vary.  Please respect those who want to stay distanced.
  • Distancing between seats will be reduced to 1 m for most of the space.  However, there will be one section where seats will remain 2 m apart for those who prefer the extra distance.
  • Hand washing/sanitizing will continue; disinfection of frequent-touch items (door handles, light switches, etc.) will continue but disinfection of chairs will not.
  • The cloth chairs will be used but the plastic brown chairs can be substituted if people prefer.
  • Hymnbooks will once again be available.  Projection will be discontinued for the rest of the summer but may return in the fall.
