COVID-19 Update - August 1: Our doors are open again to welcome back the various groups who use our building. We are in the process of contacting our regular users to see how we might accommodate people under the new guidelines, and you can always contact the church office if you have questions.

Sunday Services: During the first four weeks of August, FHUC will be presenting services created by UCC East and distributed to member churches for sharing with their congregations. These services will be streamed online at 10 am and can be accessed via our Facebook Page ( Beginning August 30, provincial regulations permitting, we will be returning to services in our sanctuary in accordance with our COVID-19 Operational Plan. This service and services for the first three Sundays in September will be streamed in their entirety to our Facebook page. Beyond that, the decision to stream services or a portion thereof will be determined by the FHUC Board in consultation with the Spiritual Guidance Committee.

Pastoral Care: During the month of August, pastoral care concerns should be brought to the attention of our Pastoral Care Committee. Contact Diane Robinson ( You may also send messages to our office email (see the Contact Us page).

Community Volunteer Income Tax Program: This program provides tax filing for individuals with limited means. Current and previous years taxes can be filed. Please contact Mary Grant at 459-8525 to see if you are eligible.
